I am an enthusiast of critters, rocks, and all things natural science related.

On a visit to the San Diego Natural History Museum, I was impressed by an exhibit on citizen scientists throughout history. The most relatable and inspiring to me was Ole Worm, a Danish physician, collector, and curator born in the 14th century. He referred to his collection of natural history "curiosities" as Museum Wormianum, which is Latin for "Worm's Museum". To me, this website has a similar function; it is a place for me to collect, collaborate on, and share the curiosities that I come across. That is the inspiration for the name Museum Salmonianum, which uses my last name, Salmon. I hope you enjoy your time in my museum!
